    Funsten caught a PFL record 17 passes for a PFL season-best 246 yards in Davidson’s 34-24 PFL loss to Jacksonville, Saturday. It was the third-best single-game performance in receptions and fourth-best in receiving yards among all FCS receivers this season. Funsten caught six passes on the Wildcats first scoring drive, including a 12-yard catch and carry to cap the drive. He led a Davidson receiving corps that caught 34 passes for 404 yards against Jacksonville which entered the game as the PFL’s top-rated pass defense.

    Junior | Defensive End | Indianapolis, Ind.

    Stephens notched a career-best 11 tackles to help Butler escape with a 17-14 PFL victory at Marist, Saturday. He also had 2½ tackles for loss, all coming on quarterback sacks. Stephens solo sack of Marist’s Chuckie Looney halted a Marist drive that had reached the Butler 34-yard line to start the fourth quarter. Stephens finished with three solo tackles and two solo sacks plus he was credited with a quarterback hurry.

    Junior | Placekicker | Jacksonville, Fla.

    Lynch accounted for 10 points, including the eventual game-winning field goal, in Jacksonville’s 34-24 PFL victory at Davidson, Saturday. He converted field goals of 38 and 24 yards, the second kick putting the Dolphins ahead 27-10 in the third quarter. Lynch also converted all four PATs and averaged 62.9 yards on seven kickoffs, including two touchbacks.
